Recent purchases:

It's been a while, but I'm back! Here are my recent purchases, a mixed bag:

First up, lace, velvet, and scuba material dress from Boohoo. It's a midi style bodycon fit. They also do this in red, but you cant go wrong with a black dress. The sleeves are lace, and so is the back. It's a lovely textured dress, feels luxurious. It was £25, link : Hayley lace and velvet bodycon dress .

I picked this up in the sale rack in Tesco, was around £8, and £20 originally. Bargain. It's a pull on style with a stretchy waist.

Ignore the scuffs as they have been worn. They are faux suede knee high boots from Peacocks. They have a chain and buckle design to give them an edgy look. The only downside is the sizing, quite roomy as I think they are wide fitting, but I will be wearing thick socks with them anyway. They were £30 from the store.

Will be back shortly with my most recent haul

Tesco Purchase:

Hello, picked up a few items whilst shopping in Tesco.

This playsuit was on the sale rack for £10 instead of £20. I thought it looked sophisticated, dressy and more expensive than it was. It's chiffon material with a concealed zip to the back with added lace detail. Bargain!

I'm short on dry shampoo, so picked up this half price- £1.99 instead of £2.99. It's specifically for coloured hair and, uses the phrase 'ignite my colour'. Will give this a go and see what happens. I usually get batiste, but fancied a change.

That's all folks,

Boohoo purchase:

Hey guys! For many years I have eyed up faux fur coats on Boohoo. But on average they cost £50. Well I finally took the plunge and splurged.

Its black and hooded, which is definitely a bonus. I like my coats to be hooded, so I can flip the hood up when it decided to rain without faffing about with umbrellas lol. The colour black is classic and will go with anything. It comes just below my bottom. There are also two decent sized pockets at either side. The only issue I have with this is the hook and eye fastenings. I find them quite tricky, and it took me ages to find two of the hooks embedded in the fur. But other than that I absolutely love it and can see it lasting me a long time. Link: Faux fur coat .

That's all for now, catch you later,

Mini haul: Select and Boohoo:

Well hello, this is the next part of my recent purchases. I did also order a pair of boots but, they are slightly too small. Bit gutted as they were the last pair available but, never mind.

This little lime jacket is from Select. It was £20 down from £25, which isn't too much of a saving, but there were only a few sizes left and I wasn't letting it go. lol. They have it in a variety of different colours. I have been eyeing them up for a while. Link: Jacket

And this playsuit from Boohoo. It was £12 down from £25. I got it in the biggest size as I knew it would run smaller and be a pain to get on and off. It's a good job I did. It has buttons half way up, and has a elasticated waist. It's rather thin, so would be best suited to warmer months. I'll just pop on black tights, cardi and coat for the colder months. That's all for now, see you soon,

Mini haul: Tesco & Primark:

Hello, its only a teeny haul today, two items! I have an order coming from Boohoo and Select sometime soon, so will post when they arrive.

This mustard coloured shirt/blouse dress was from Tesco, it was £20. They also have this in a red and orange (so I hear). Would love to pick up the red one as well.

Was rather excited when I saw this in Primark, had to have it! I got it bigger as nothing beats a slouchy comfy jumper in the Winter. This was £16. Bit pricey I think, but its worth it!

See you all soon with another Mini haul.

Hair haul:

Hello there! I recently purchased some hair products from Superdrug.

First up we have these VO5 cherish my colour shampoo and conditioner, which were on offer for 2 for £6. These are the 500 ml versions.

I have been wanting to dye my hair for a while, and decided on red (mango copper burst). Most of my hair was my natural colour with just the ends being dyed dark brown. These were on buy one get one free. This is Superdrug's own brand.

As its such a hassle dying my own hair I picked up this tinting brush which made things a little easier.

This is the final result, and as you can see the brown dye is very much noticeable. I'm not too worried about it as it will be cut out shortly. My roots took really well to it. I may dye it again to see if it will make a bit more of a difference.

Update: I have now dyed my hair a second time. I think it looks more vibrant and more of the colour I was looking for.

I will add all of the links shortly in case anyone is interested.

That's all for now, see you shortly,

Superdrug haul:

Hey everyone, time for a haul. I haven't done one for a while as I have been watching my spending.

First up we have the Nivea body firming moisturiser with Q 10 which was on offer. Next the brilliant 1 week tooth whitening kit ( up to 4 shades lighter), I have tried one before, but as this was cheaper I was intrigued to test it out. And the B. range concealer in light, also on offer.

couldn't find the exact one I got, but this is the closet version : Firming body lotion

I have been wanting to try a hot cloth cleanser for a while, and when I came across this one by Superdrug on offer I thought why not? This one is the naturally radiant brightening one, they also do a vitamin E version. I usually go for the Garnier Micellar water but it wasn't on offer, so picked up this B.range one which was.

And last but not least some more perfume as I have ran out. There were others I wanted, and one's I love that were sold out, but I also love these two, and they were both bargains at £10 each, great offers! Ones hidden fantasy and the other is cosmic radiance by Britney Spears, love her scents.

Thanks for stopping by, see you all soon,

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much. I have been very busy, and have engaged in a new goal. I have purchased a cross trainer, and joined a dieting group. I shall be putting up the cross trainer in a few weeks, + currently I'm in week two of the diet. So far I have lost 3lbs in one week, fingers crossed I shall continue to do so lol. I am planning on using this as an update weekly type thing, maybe show you before and after pictures, talk about my progress, how I'm finding the trainer and the diet etc. Let me know if this would be something you are interested in reading.

Cosmopolitan makeup sponge review:

Hey guys, back with another quick review!

I picked this up on offer from Superdrug a while back and I've been testing it out ever since. I absolutely love it, and would not be without it now. I haven't put a new picture of it up due to it being covered in foundation lol but you can see it well enough through the packet.

  • Its super easy to use
  • Very quick to use, my base is sorted in no time and its less messy
  • When water is added it becomes unbelievably soft and squidgy + larger
  • I use this mainly with the 3 in 1 max factor foundation and it looks perfect, its the best foundation to use it with that I have tried. It definitely provides an airbrush finish when used with that particular foundation. I think its due to the texture of the foundation as its light and has a more liquid consistency.
  • I just pop some foundation on my hand, dab the large bottom end onto it, and dab it allover my face. The pointy end is good for applying foundation around the nose, and concealer around the eye area
  • I will be buying this again definitely and would recommend. 9/10.
That's all for this review, let me know if you have used this sponge and your thoughts on it,

B.Replenished facial oil review:

Hey guys! I thought I would do a review today! Lets get cracking!

I got this from Superdrug a decent while ago, in one of my hauls from the start of June! I'd been wanting to try a facial oil for a long time, so chose this one as it was on offer. The aim of this is to give an antioxidant boost and includes vitamin E and C, Rosehip oil, Argan oil, and Crambe seed oil.

I had a few dry patches on my skin, particularly on my forehead and no amount of exfoliating and moisturising was doing the trick. However this did, my dry patches literally vanished after around 2 applications. That was impressive, and it made me look a bit more glowy.

My skin looks a little better after using this up until now, it just overall looks and feels better. It does nothing to help with my spots ( but didn't make them worse), but my skin looks more evened out. It looks a little smoother. I haven't got any wrinkles on my face, so cant comment in that respect, but I did mention in my haul that it was aimed towards people in their 30's and 40's so maybe it does help with this.

It has a smell to it, but I wouldn't say it was perfume as such, more natural smelling from the oils used.

On the website it states that it helps calm stressed skin, protects against environmental free radical damage, boosts skins antioxidant levels, offers 12 hour hydration, doesn't block pores and is suitable for all skin types. It definitely offers hydration, and hasn't blocked my pores, and I love to slather it on lol. I use this every night after removing my makeup, before going to bed. I wake up with lovely hydrated dewy skin, but with no residue.

I love this oil and would definitely recommend if you are looking for an oil that will help hydrate your skin, especially if its dry, and are looking for something with plenty of good stuff packed into it. This is also cruelty free and is classed as vegan, so that's also a major plus side I think. I adore Superdrug for their cruelty free ranges. Link here: B.Replenished facial oil . Its still on offer by the way.

Anyway that is all for today, if you have an questions leave them below and I will be sure to get back to you, + let me know if you have tried any face oils and your thoughts on them. See you all soon,
