Olay nature fusion night cream review:

Next up I have a review on the nature fusion anti-wrinkle cream by Olay. This one is from the nature fusion line. As I stated in a previous blog I have used the day lotion for a while and really liked it, so I thought I'd purchase the night cream to add to my skincare.

About the product:
  • its a night cream
  • anti-wrinkle
  • recommended for women aged 25+
  • it has natural extracts added to the formula such as grape seed extracts, ginseng, and sea buckthorn
  • it helps protect against against the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • it gives your skin moisture all night long
  • the formula is easily absorbed into the skin without clogging pores
  • non-greasy
  • suggests that by using this regularly you will develop  more radiant younger looking skin

My thoughts on the product:
  • it has a lovely refreshing and cooling feeling on the skin, feels lovely when you apply it
  • its quite thick and creamy but that's fine as it has all night to soak in
  • my skin feels very moisturised and smooth when I wake up, slightly more shiny than usual (nothing major), but once my makeup is on its not noticeable
  • I've always had a problem with creams breaking me out in the past, but this hasn't, I've had no breakouts from using this
  • Smells nice, but if you don't like scented products then you may not like this
  • my skin hasn't reacted badly to this at all
  • I love the fact it has natural elements to it, which is always a bonus
  • I haven't noticed any improvement wrinkle wise, as I don't have any issues with that just yet + I've only been using it for 5 days or so.
  • my skin does actually look a bit more glowy than usual in a short space of time

I really like this face cream. I've never specifically had a night cream like this before so I thought I would add it into my regime. I will definitely continue to purchase this. Its on offer at the moment on the Superdrug website (where I purchased this), so it was a bargain! I'd rate this a 9/10!

See you soon with more reviews + much more!

L'Oreal skin perfection Micellar solution- review:

Well hello there, I have a little review for you.

A few days ago I received my Superdrug order. Below is a snap of what I'm reviewing today:

I'd never tried this before, but it always caught my eye. I'm so glad that I finally got round to buying it.

About the product (stated on the bottle):

  1. Dissolves makeup
  2. Unclogs pores and removes impurities
  3. Tones and soothes skin
  4. Its used by makeup artists
  5. Draws out excess oil in the skin and impurities
  6. There's no perfume, no alcohol, and its hypo-allergenic
  7. Its suitable for sensitive skin
  8. You don't need to rinse the product off
  9. And that its tested under dermatological and ophthalmological control (whew that was a big word lol)

Here are my thoughts on the product:

  • I think its reasonably priced and I got it on offer which was even better!
  • Its gentle on the skin, even on the eyes
  • Removes makeup really well, without any rough rubbing or tugging (we don't need that!)
  • I even tried it on my clean skin, as I hadn't wore makeup that day. I wiped it over my skin with a cotton pad and you can see what comes off your face from just general day to day grime. It literally removes impurities from the skin.
  • When you sweep this over the skin it has a nice tingly, cooling refreshing feel, it feels so nice!
  • On the bottle it states that it can be used on the face, eyes and lips, so its a multitasking, multi-function product, no need for separate removers for different parts of the face.
  • I feel like my skin is squeaky clean after using it, which is great! Some makeup removers don't feel like they get deep enough to really remove everything from the skin. I hate the feeling that your face isn't truly clear of makeup.
  • I moisturise after using this as my skin feels slightly dry afterwards. I moisturise anyway after removing makeup.
  • I love this, I will definitely repurchase, can see this being my new staple! 10/10
These are just my thoughts about this little gem, let me know your thoughts in the comments. I would love to know your views.

Thank you for popping over to my blog.

See you all again soon with another review,

Short and sweet Haul:

Hey guys! I got my delivery today so I'm going to do a super quick haul. I've recently done some quite large blog posts, I thought I'd keep this one short and sweet!

  1. I purchased the Olay ant-wrinkle nature fusion night cream. I've been using the day lotion for a while now, and I really like it. Every night without fail I moisturise my skin, so I thought why not get the matching night cream.
  2. I also sent for the L'Oreal Skin perfection 3 in 1 purifying micellar solution. I've been wanting to try this for some time now and have heard so many good things about it. It was on offer on Superdrugs website, as was the Olay night cream. Bargain!
  3. And lastly the baby skin instant pore eraser primer by Maybelline. Obviously this is a new raved about product so I thought I must try it! This is also on offer where you can by two and get the 2nd half price. I just purchased one to try it out first.
Here's a snap of what the face cream looks like:

Once I've used these products I will do a review on them. Looking forward to trying all three!

Catch you later,

Very first blog post:

Hello guys! Wanted to finally start uploading on here, and thought I'd start by doing a review as its short and sweet and a great introduction. I'm not 100% on how to use this site yet so bare with me =]

Feel free to ask any questions related to my blog posts, I will be happy to get back to you!

I'll start by talking about the batiste dry shampoo as it is a must have for me, due to having oily hair. I usually have to wash my hair every other day or on the 3rd day if I'm lucky. So in between I spritz this little beauty into my hair and it makes me look half decent for the day.
It's good for cutting back on grease, and putting volume into the hair, as my hair type is fine and can be limp at times. I would recommend this and rate it as a 8/10. The vo5 volume one, I think its called 'plump me up' if I remember correctly. It has added collagen - simply amazing, I have recently tried that and it definitely does increase volume. That one is my favorite one by far and that would get a 9 1/2/10.

Olay anti-wrinkle  nature fusion day lotion is next up: this is really good actually, as it hasn't broke me out -I have oily acne prone skin so I have to be careful what moisturisers I put on.
This is perfect for me, makes your skin feel really clean and tingly, and isn't over moisturising and greasy, sinks into the skin easily. Quite impressed with this and I got it on offer. Bargain! 8/10.

Nivea 2in 1 cleanser: I think this is great as its for normal to combination skin, so suites mine fine. I haven't had any problems with it in terms of breakouts, it removes makeup effectively and I feel clean and refresh afterwards. I just massage it into my skin and wipe off with cotton pads, usually the double sided from superdrug/boots/tesco as they don't fluff.

Vitamin E range from superdrug/and boots:
I purchased the eye makeup remover from superdrug's own range, and it does the job ok, doesn't burn or sting, and its gentle for the eye area. I would rate this a 7/10.

The eye cream and face cream are from boots: the eye cream is quite good although my eyes do water and sting a bit, so I tend to put this on at bedtime to stop any from irritating my eyes and its fine then. I haven't really noticed much difference from using it in terms of dark circles etc but I only wanted it to moisturise.  6/10.
The face cream is quite rich, and if I apply it too much or too often it does break me out slightly, so I tend not to use it much. If I feel my skin is a tad thirsty I apply it at night and in the morning my skin is really smooth and soft. 5/10.

Tweezers: these came as a pack of two from ASDA, one is for precise plucking with a pointed tip, these are my favorite as they are better to grip the tiny hairs that can be missed. They are also really cute as they are pink with tiny white polka dots. 8/10.

That's it for my skincare, don''t really need to go into detail about deodorant =] thank you for taking the time to read my review and hope you liked it. <3
