B.Replenished facial oil review:

Hey guys! I thought I would do a review today! Lets get cracking!

I got this from Superdrug a decent while ago, in one of my hauls from the start of June! I'd been wanting to try a facial oil for a long time, so chose this one as it was on offer. The aim of this is to give an antioxidant boost and includes vitamin E and C, Rosehip oil, Argan oil, and Crambe seed oil.

I had a few dry patches on my skin, particularly on my forehead and no amount of exfoliating and moisturising was doing the trick. However this did, my dry patches literally vanished after around 2 applications. That was impressive, and it made me look a bit more glowy.

My skin looks a little better after using this up until now, it just overall looks and feels better. It does nothing to help with my spots ( but didn't make them worse), but my skin looks more evened out. It looks a little smoother. I haven't got any wrinkles on my face, so cant comment in that respect, but I did mention in my haul that it was aimed towards people in their 30's and 40's so maybe it does help with this.

It has a smell to it, but I wouldn't say it was perfume as such, more natural smelling from the oils used.

On the website it states that it helps calm stressed skin, protects against environmental free radical damage, boosts skins antioxidant levels, offers 12 hour hydration, doesn't block pores and is suitable for all skin types. It definitely offers hydration, and hasn't blocked my pores, and I love to slather it on lol. I use this every night after removing my makeup, before going to bed. I wake up with lovely hydrated dewy skin, but with no residue.

I love this oil and would definitely recommend if you are looking for an oil that will help hydrate your skin, especially if its dry, and are looking for something with plenty of good stuff packed into it. This is also cruelty free and is classed as vegan, so that's also a major plus side I think. I adore Superdrug for their cruelty free ranges. Link here: B.Replenished facial oil . Its still on offer by the way.

Anyway that is all for today, if you have an questions leave them below and I will be sure to get back to you, + let me know if you have tried any face oils and your thoughts on them. See you all soon,

Superdrug haul:

I'm back already, I have a Superdrug haul this time. Lets get straight into it!

As I was taking the picture the little white tub rolled, but its just the Superdrug coconut oil. I have used this before and loved it. I ran out a while ago. I use this on my hair mainly as an overnight treatment. I have a problem with hair fallout and slow hair growth. This helps a lot in my personal experience. It may not work for others, but it did for me. It stops my hair falling out as much and I noticed my hair grew a little quicker when I worked this into my roots (massaging the area) around two-three times a week. It can be messy, and take a while to wash out but I think its worth it. I absolutely love it. I will never go back. Link here: Superdrug coconut oil

I've used the Batiste dry shampoo XXL volume in the past (when I was blonde) so thought I'd try it out with darker hair, and it definitely did give me an oomph in the past along with livening the hair up in between washes. Link here: XXL dry shampoo

Blend perfection foundation sponge by cosmopolitan-I've used a few cheapish versions of these sponges before, and saw this one on offer and thought I'd give it a go. It wasn't too expensive anyway, but the offer price really attracted me to it. Link here: Cosmopolitan blend perfection sponge

I've been obsessed with skincare for a while now, even more so in the past year or two. I've been wanting to try a face oil for some time, and I saw this one by Superdrug's B. range. This is a little bit pricey, but it was on offer so I had to have it. Although this product is stated for people in their 30's and 40's I saw no reason why I couldn't give it a whirl. This one is the B.replenished antioxidant boost which includes vitamin E and C, Rosehip oil, Argan oil, and Crambe seed oil. I think I am going to enjoy this tremendously as I've applied it once before going to sleep and I noticed my skin looked a little bit brighter. Hopefully this will bring good results. Link here: B.Replenished facial oil

I also purchased the Manuka Doctor age defying eye cream. This has Manuka honey and purified bee venom. I am looking forward to trying this out. Link here: Manuka Doctor eye cream

Last but not least I thought I would include a lip balm from Primark. Its £1 and I got it in pineapple flavour. I was pleasantly surprised after one application, I struggle with dry lips most of the time no matter what I do. I applied this once and about an hour or so later I noticed my lips were a lot less dry after it wore off.  Amazing for a really for a cheap lip balm.

That's all for now, have you tried any of these products? did you have good experiences? see you all soon,

Avon Anew Vitale skincare set review:

Hey guys! How are you all doing? I was unsure of what to post next, so I thought I'd talk about my experience with this range.

I picked up the sample sizes as the full size products are quite pricey in my opinion, and I didn't want to fork out money and end up not liking the product. I got this set for £10 and it was weeks ago, yet I still have quite a bit left. I think the original price was around £22 or £24, something like that anyway. I personally would not have bought it at full price, because your getting only two weeks worth.

Face wash/cleanser:

I absolutely love this face wash, my skin has never ever felt so soft. I literally stroke my face when I've used it. My skin feels really fresh afterwards and not dry or tight at all. I will definitely be buying the full size. It smells nice, but if you don't like scented products then steer clear from this, although its not too over-whelming. Its meant to lather up really well on your skin, but it doesn't much at all on mine (not sure if that's just me). 10/10.

Day cream:

I've used this the least out of everything as I'm not a huge fan of putting moisturiser on before my makeup, as it tends to slip and slide everywhere with having oily skin anyway. But it feels nice on the skin, sinks in really well, seems to brighten up my complexion a little bit. The smell is rather strong, so as I said before if you really don't like scents, then this may be a little bit much. I may not purchase this one, even though I do like it. And at around £25 a pop, I need to really want it. 9/10.

Night cream:

I use this a lot, every night without fail. It sinks into my skin really well, and I love it as part of my skincare routine. I do definitely see a difference with using these products on my skin, I may have found my holy grail skincare. I get breakouts regardless, but this has definitely not made it any worse, in fact my skins been behaving quite well. 9.10.

Eye cream:

I still have not come across an eye cream I love, or think works really well. At first this seemed to do absolutely nothing, but I carried on using it regardless, and after a few weeks I noticed a difference. My eyes seem less puffy, as I have allergies and other things that contribute to it. This is a full size product, and I definitely will be repurchasing when it runs out. 9/10.

Sorry I haven't posted this past week or so, I've been very busy and would have liked this to go up sooner! Have any of you tried this? Let me know in the comments below,

Avon haul:

Yay its finally here! Its definitely a mood booster when you get your parcel delivered, I feel like a kid in a candy store!

I ordered quite a bit, and I also ordered my mum some goodies for mothers day. I'll show you what I got for myself. Oh and I also received my re-order of the Pavers heels, there's definitely much more room in the next size up, but a little extra room is always better than squeezing your feet into something too small!

First up we have the ANEW vitale skincare kit. I got the 25+ range in the trail sizes to try them out. The range is quite expensive, so if I like the products I may order the full size. These little sets are usually around £22-£28, and they are currently on offer for £10! Now that's a bargain, if I don't like it I wont have wasted too much money. Here's the one I bought ANEW 25+ skincare set but you can buy them in other ages.

Next we have the Planet spa perfectly purifying body scrub. This contains dead sea minerals. I love a good scrub for my face and body, and I needed a new body scrub. The one I tried last wasn't rough enough for my liking, was a little too gentle. So hopefully this will do the trick. It's on offer at the moment for £3.85 instead of £5.50. I do love my bargains, here is the link if you are interested Planet spa body scrub.

I also picked up the prepare to party gift set which comes in a little evening bag with the goodies inside. This cost £10 which is great as everything separate would cost much more. The set includes supershock mascara in black, ultra colour lipstick in red 2000, true colour eyeshadow duo in healthy glow, and glimmestick eyeliner in blackest black. The bag is PVC but very soft. This is out of the stock at the moment, but they should be getting more in soon, here is the link prepare to party gift set. I've had similar ones before in the past, and they are worthit.

I picked up two foundations on the 2 for £12 offer, ones the extra lasting liquid foundation which contains SPF 12, and the other is the ideal flawless invisible foundation which also contains an SPF 15. I'm always on the lookout for new foundations to try, and I'm quite excited to try these out. I got them both in Ivory so will soon find out how dark they turn out on my skin.  Here are the links Extra lasting foundation, and Invisible coverage foundation. The invisible coverage has more color options.

Below I have uploaded some closer looks at the products:

I quickly did some swatches to show the product colours:

These are swatches from the prepare to party gift set.

The darker swatch is the extralasting foundation, hopefully it will blend well and wont be too dark for me. The lighter swatch is the ideal flawless foundation, I had a problem getting this out of the bottle because the pump wouldn't work, maybe its faulty. I'm hoping it begins to work so I don't have to scoop the product out of the bottle.

I'm just waiting on my makeup storage to come now, but it's out of stock due to high demand. So may be waiting around 2 weeks until it arrives.

Let me know if you have tried any of these products and your thoughts. See you all soon,

Garnier Micellar cleansing water:

Hey there, fancy seeing you here! I'm back with the Micellar water review.

So a while back you saw that I tried out the L'Oreal Micellar water. I saw that Garnier also had a version, which had more product for cheaper. Naturally I had to try it out being the bargain that it is. I've always liked Garnier products.

About the product:
  • the bottle contains 400ml which is meant to give you up to 200 uses
  • suitable for sensitive skin
  • can be used on face, eyes and lips
  • it contains no perfume and is hypoallergenic
  • its dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested
  • its an easy and effective way to remove makeup and impurities
  • soothes and hydrates the skin
  • you don't need to rinse the product off
  • the solution works like a magnet which capture and lift away dirt
  • no need to rub harshly on the skin
  • suitable for all skin types

Here are my thoughts on the product:
  • There's not really any difference between this one and the L'Oreal one
  • you get more for your money. Definitely prefer the larger bottle
  • it removes makeup and impurities
  • has a lovely tingly feeling on the skin leaving it refreshed
  • feels nice & gentle on the skin and makes you feel squeaky clean
  • if your patient and let the cotton pad rest over your eyes for a few seconds before wiping, it makes it easier to get it off. Takes a few attempt's for me (to get all traces), but its really effective compared to other eye makeup removers I've tried. No need to rub dramatically and tug on the delicate eye area.
  • I found the L'Oreal version comes out the bottle much quicker, whereas you can get more control from the Garnier bottle
  • again there's no scent to it
  • I prefer to have an all in one makeup remover as its just easy and quick to use, there's no messing around
  • I will be sticking to this one due to the size and price
  • I would rate this 10/10, its fab

Thanks for stopping by, and I shall be returning shortly with another review

Beauty haul:

Hey guys! I've been away for a few days (on a little break/getaway) and I'm back with some goodies! I couldn't help but splurge a bit..

So I popped into Superdrug and Boots, and decided I'd treat myself (why not? lol).

  • As you know I've recently tried the L'Oreal micellar water, so I wanted to try the Garnier version as this has twice as much product for the price! Stay tuned for a review on that very soon.
  • I purchased the tangle teezer after years of debate as at around £10 I kept giving it a miss, but its better late than never eh!
  • I came across the so matte perfect stay by miss sporty, as I have used products before and really liked them. At £3.49 this is an absolute steal (we all know how much foundations can cost).
  • Also picked up the miss sporty studio lash eye liner which I'm excited to try out
  • Again with the miss sporty trend I'm having, I decided to get the lash millionaire all in 1 mascara- I love love love miss sporty mascaras, so it was a must!
  • Ive tried a baby lips before in pink punch, so I thought I'd try another in peach kiss
  • for a while I've been wanting to try the Rimmel apocalips lip lacquer, so I picked it up in big bang
  • sticking with the lip theme I thought I'd give MUA  ago (tried a few things before) and decided on the out there plumping lip gloss in candy pink
  • and last but not least the boots tea tree and witch hazel spot wand- I love the tea tree and witch hazel range and with having spot prone skin they work a treat!
I will review these products as soon as I feel I can give them a fair trial + reviews coming up from products I have already featured.

See you all very soon

L'Oreal skin perfection Micellar solution- review:

Well hello there, I have a little review for you.

A few days ago I received my Superdrug order. Below is a snap of what I'm reviewing today:

I'd never tried this before, but it always caught my eye. I'm so glad that I finally got round to buying it.

About the product (stated on the bottle):

  1. Dissolves makeup
  2. Unclogs pores and removes impurities
  3. Tones and soothes skin
  4. Its used by makeup artists
  5. Draws out excess oil in the skin and impurities
  6. There's no perfume, no alcohol, and its hypo-allergenic
  7. Its suitable for sensitive skin
  8. You don't need to rinse the product off
  9. And that its tested under dermatological and ophthalmological control (whew that was a big word lol)

Here are my thoughts on the product:

  • I think its reasonably priced and I got it on offer which was even better!
  • Its gentle on the skin, even on the eyes
  • Removes makeup really well, without any rough rubbing or tugging (we don't need that!)
  • I even tried it on my clean skin, as I hadn't wore makeup that day. I wiped it over my skin with a cotton pad and you can see what comes off your face from just general day to day grime. It literally removes impurities from the skin.
  • When you sweep this over the skin it has a nice tingly, cooling refreshing feel, it feels so nice!
  • On the bottle it states that it can be used on the face, eyes and lips, so its a multitasking, multi-function product, no need for separate removers for different parts of the face.
  • I feel like my skin is squeaky clean after using it, which is great! Some makeup removers don't feel like they get deep enough to really remove everything from the skin. I hate the feeling that your face isn't truly clear of makeup.
  • I moisturise after using this as my skin feels slightly dry afterwards. I moisturise anyway after removing makeup.
  • I love this, I will definitely repurchase, can see this being my new staple! 10/10
These are just my thoughts about this little gem, let me know your thoughts in the comments. I would love to know your views.

Thank you for popping over to my blog.

See you all again soon with another review,
